Bebé PT was created to address the physical challenges and the need for specialized care during and after pregnancy

Physical therapy has been proven effective in treating and preventing common discomforts during pregnancy (back pain, hip pain, sciatica, rib pain, swelling etc)

Physiologic changes in a woman’s body during and after pregnancy challenge joint stability, posture and overall mobility, often causing pain syndromes in joints and muscles of back, hips, abdomen and pelvis for example.

Infants are welcome to accompany you during your treatment (until crawling age). Complete nursery and playroom is provided. Bring your own nanny!
Childcare available. Please call for hours and fee schedule.
Treatments may include soft tissue mobilization, gentle joint mobilizations, massage and trigger point release techniques, taping techniques, postural education, therapeutic exercises, cardio-vascular activities, pilates and yoga based; Biofeedback and electrotherapeutic modalities.
Your first visit will take approximately 60-70 minutes and consists of an individualized evaluation, printed home exercise program and information booklet.
During Pregnancy
Prepare your body for labor and delivery
Gently strengthen your abdominals, pelvic floor and low back musculature (core-Pilates based)
Postural re-education for alignment and improved balance as your body changes
Strengthening of postural and upper back musculature for good lifting mechanics
Address pre-existing conditions that may worsen during your pregnancy (disc herniation, sciatic pain, surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome etc)
Massage of tired and achy muscles
Alleviate pain, joint inflammation, incontinence and prevent separation of abdominal musculature (diastasis recti)
Create optimal stability through strength, balance and flexibility = pain free!
 
After Pregnancy
We help your body recover from delivery fast and safely!
Manage C-Section scar tissue and promote faster healing and return of sensation
Rehabilitate strained, stretched or separated abdominal muscles, improve pelvic floor muscle control (no more accidents!) and core strength to avoid back pain
Resolve diastasis of rectus muscle (separation of abdominal muscles)
Learn and practice correct body mechanics while lifting, holding, nursing your new baby and to avoid injury and pain
